Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office deputies recovered a stolen trailer and skid loader Tuesday near Noble, minutes after the equipment was tracked to a wooded area. At 10:13 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were sent to the area of 156th and Etowah Road to attempt to locate the items. The equipment had been reported stolen to Oklahoma City police earlier in the morning. The skid loader and trailer had last been seen Monday at a job site in southeast Oklahoma City. When deputies arrived, the business owner told deputies a tracking device pinpointed the equipment’s location to an area just north of Etowah Road and west of 156th Street. Deputies contacted the land owner who informed them that nobody had permission to be on the property, and wasn’t aware anyone had been there for the last two years. The land owner gave deputies permission to search the area. As deputies searched, they found the trailer south of an oil well and the skid loader north of the well in thick brush. The equipment was returned to the owner.
