CCSO deputies investigate fatality wreck


Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a fatality wreck that happened Tuesday night on Cemetery Road near Slaughterville.
Deputies were notified about the crash at 6:30 p.m.
According to deputies, a 1998 Dodge van was traveling eastbound on Cemetery Road between 84th and 96th Streets when the vehicle left the roadway to the south and hit a cedar tree. The male driver, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The victim’s name is being withheld until next of kin has been notified.
The CCSO Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the wreck.
