Sheriff’s Office seeking advisory board members

2019 CAB Application

The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Community Advisory Board (CAB), just wrapped up its inaugural year serving as community advisors to Cleveland County Detention Center operations. The CAB was the first of its kind nationally to give input on jail operations and was modeled after a Department of Justice program. Comprised of nine members, the CAB has had unprecedented access to the inner workings of the jail and as a group has offered many helpful recommendations to help make the Cleveland County Detention Center one of the best in the state.

We are currently seeking applicants to serve on the CAB with some great individuals. For more details including qualifications, download the application or email jhampton@clevelandcountyok.com.

Applications are due no later than Jan. 6.

You can email your completed application and attached resume to jhampton@clevelandcountyok.com, drop it off  or mail it to the Sheriff’s Office, 111 N. Peters Ave., Suite 600, Norman, OK 73069, or drop it off at the Cleveland County Detention Center, 2550 Franklin Rd., Norman, Oklahoma.
