911 Cell Phone Program

  • CCSO is collecting mobile phones for its 911 Cell Phone program.
  • The Sheriff’s Office will take the donated phones, get the data and numbers from the previous owners cleared and have them programmed for 911 purposes only.
  • We will then give them to citizens who can use them to dial 911.
  • These phones are for emergency use only and are free to the public.
  • They will receive a cell phone and a charger.

  • People need to be able to dial 911 in case of an emergency so this is a great asset for the county.
  • People are welcome to donate or pick up phones from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, 128 S. Peters Ave. in Norman.
  • For more information about the program, please call 701-8888.
